Tinubu commissions Bwari water network, pledges clean water
President Tinubu commissioned the Bwari Water Supply Network, a 198-kilometre pipeline connecting Bwari and surrounding communities to the Lower Usuma Dam treated water as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda to extend clean water to Abuja’s satellite towns and all six area councils. He framed the project as fulfilling a contract and pledged to replicate similar water infrastructure in Kuje, Kwali, Gwagwalada and Abaji, underscoring that clean water is a fundamental right and central to governance that works for the people.
