Pacers waive Taelon Peter after season

The Indiana Pacers are waiving Taelon Peter from a two-way contract, narrowing the competition for their three two-way slots to four players: Braden Smith, Kobe Brown, Jalen Slawson and Ethan Thompson. Peter, who played 38 NBA games and 20 G League games while averaging about 4.5 PPG, 1.6 RPG and 1.1 APG, will seek opportunities elsewhere after a Summer League showing that suggested some promise but did not secure a roster spot.
