Arctic Corsair's Final Journey to Hull North End Shipyard Planned for August 13–17
Hull’s last remaining sidewinder trawler, the Arctic Corsair, will move to its final home at North End Shipyard in a highly complex operation scheduled for August 13–17, with the exact date to be confirmed after assessing tides, weather, and river conditions. The move, which requires multiple bridge openings and dredging of about 3,500 cubic metres of silt and a new dock gate, will position the Corsair as the centerpiece of a new visitor attraction as part of Hull’s £65m maritime redevelopment.
