IEA, CDRI launch India energy resilience study

Industry leaders and officials in New Delhi gathered for a joint IEA-CDRI assessment of risks to India's energy and infrastructure, underscoring the need to strengthen resilience as electricity demand rises amid weather-related disruptions and cyber threats. The discussions cite nearly 300 weather-related disruptions in 2023 affecting over 210 million households and reference a December 2025 MoU to deepen cooperation and advance a joint resilience study for India's energy system.
