Jaishankar urges stronger India-ASEAN cooperation amid turbulence

Jaishankar pressed for deeper India-ASEAN cooperation to safeguard maritime trade, energy, food, and health security, and to ensure resilient supply chains amid global turbulence, while stressing adherence to international law and the importance of inclusive, rule-based ties. He also highlighted stronger regional partnerships, structured dialogue on key issues, and the role of the Philippines as coordinator to advance the India-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during meetings in Manila.
