Sam Alexis Joins Indiana Roster for FISU Games

Indiana has added former Hoosier Sam Alexis to its FISU America Games roster in Peru, with plans to play him starting in the matchup against the Virgin Islands after his NBA Summer League stint with Oklahoma City. He fills the interior role intended for Samet Yigitoglu, who can practice but is ineligible to represent Team USA, while Indiana also is missing freshman signee Clemens Sokolov for the event.

Indiana Men's Basketball Plans to Represent United States at FISU America Games in Lima

The Indiana men’s basketball program will represent the United States at the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru from July 20 to August 1, with group play starting July 21 against Peru and elimination rounds to follow, all games streamed online. Under second-year coach Darian DeVries, the Hoosiers bring a largely new roster with seven transfers, and UniUSA alongside BTI Events manages USA participation and logistics.
