Arrest Made Year After Fatal Okanagan Granfondo Crash

Authorities charged Jonathan Crant with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm in connection with the July 13, 2025 Okanagan Granfondo crash that killed Ava Choy and injured two others; the event was canceled indefinitely following the tragedy. Crant was arrested July 20, 2026, as the investigation continues before the courts.
