Disney plans hundreds of job cuts across divisions
The Walt Disney Co. is cutting hundreds of jobs across corporate functions, ESPN, Disney Entertainment Television, and film studios as part of its One Disney restructuring led by Josh D’Amaro, with Pixar set to bear the largest number of cuts and National Geographic the hardest-hit unit within DET, including some on-air ESPN talent such as Karl Ravech and Ryan Clark among those affected. The layoffs are happening in multiple rounds tied to recent corporate streamlining and asset integrations, as Disney seeks a more agile, technologically enabled workforce.
