Spire launches first three Colorado-built satellites

Spire Global launched the first three satellites manufactured at its Boulder, Colorado, facility aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-18 rideshare mission, marking an expansion of its U.S. production capabilities. The company says the site handles satellite development, manufacturing, integration and testing under one roof, supporting faster deployment of mission-specific systems and more resilient domestic supply chains for national security and defense customers. Together with production facilities in the U.K. and Europe, Spire says it can produce 300 to 400 satellites annually.
