Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy left Sunday night’s season opener against Louisville after suffering a lower-body injury, described in reports as affecting his thigh, leg or knee. Before exiting, Lacy had 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, plus four catches for 19 yards; he briefly returned earlier after appearing to have the wind knocked out of him. Backup Makhi Frazier handled most of the running-back duties while Lacy was sidelined, and his status for upcoming games remains unclear. Wide receiver Deuce Alexander also left after catching a 62-yard touchdown, his second of the game, but reports indicated he was evaluated and later returned. Ole Miss and Louisville were tied 38-38 late in the fourth quarter.

Glad Alexander walked it off but these thigh/knee tweaks on Lacy have me nervous - hope it's just precautionary.
Losing Lacy for any stretch is a nightmare with LSU looming. That backfield depth better show up fast.
