Shepard triple-double leads Wings past Sparks 97-77
Jessica Shepard recorded her fifth triple-double of the season with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists as the Dallas Wings beat the Los Angeles Sparks 97-77. Paige Bueckers scored 19 points. Dallas broke open a close game with a 12-0 run spanning the third-quarter break to reach 74-58 and finished with a 46-27 rebounding edge for its fifth straight win. The Wings moved to 25-16, tying the franchise record for regular-season wins set by the 2003 Detroit Shock at 25-9, with three games remaining. Maddy Siegrist added 12 points and Arike Ogunbowale 11. Odyssey Sims injured her knee late in the third quarter and did not play in the fourth.
