Tahj Skinner leads Notre Dame past Chaminade, 28-21
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame beat Chaminade 28-21 in a Mission League opener, improving to 6-0 and handing Chaminade its first loss. Tahj Skinner, who transferred to Notre Dame after attending Chaminade, accounted for all four of the Knights’ touchdowns with three touchdown passes and an interception return for a score, then recovered Chaminade’s attempted onside kick to secure the win. Chaminade played without its injured starting quarterback, with freshman Hendrix Coleman making his varsity debut.
