Teladoc Health launches Teladoc One virtual care
Teladoc Health is launching Teladoc One, a risk-based, integrated virtual care model designed to coordinate care across multiple specialties and replace fragmented, disease-by-disease programs. The offering combines clinical teams with an AI-driven Pulse data engine that merges clinical history, claims, pharmacy, device data and more, aiming to deliver personalized, whole-person care. Payments for Teladoc One will be 100% at risk, tied to clinical outcomes and total cost of care improvements, with initial deployments targeting cardiometabolic populations. The model includes human care guides, AI-powered triage to route care appropriately, and ongoing coordination with in-network providers, both within Teladoc and externally. Teladoc has cited studies and partnerships, noting that broader, integrated care can improve outcomes like blood sugar control and weight management, while expanding collaborations with organizations such as the National Basketball Players Association, Walmart and Instacart. Availability is planned to begin with select enterprise clients in September 2026 and broaden to general availability in January 2027, with a stated goal of delivering care at scale while reducing healthcare costs.
