Family dog named ‘Diablo' on the loose after attacking teen girl

A family dog that authorities say attacked a 17-year-old girl is on the loose after deputies tried unsuccessfully to catch the animal. Exclusive video from Chopper 6 captured the moments surrounding the search for the dog, named Diablo. The video shows deputies in the backyard of a home, where the dog appears cornered near a structure as deputies move closer. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said a deputy deployed an electronic control weapon after the dog aggressively approached from behind. Chopper6 video then shows Diablo running around the back of the property and escaping into the surrounding neighborhood. #dog #family #diablo #teen #bite NBC 6 on Instagram: @NBC6 | www.instagram.com/nbc6 NBC 6 on Facebook: www.facebook.com/nbc6southflorida NBC 6 on TikTok: @NBCsouthflorida | www.tiktok.com/@nbcsouthflorida Get breaking news, First Alert weather updates, plus live cameras from NBC 6 South Florida.
