Zelenskyy Confirms Strikes on Russian Logistics Centers
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine has conducted long-range strikes targeting logistics centers in Russia’s Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, hitting drone components, navigation equipment and an oil depot. He also said a tanker and four cargo ships belonging to Russia’s shadow fleet were struck in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Zelenskyy frames these actions as bringing the war back home to Russia and reiterates that peace is needed, noting Ukraine has already presented all proposals to end the conflict. Kyiv asserts it has provided every proposal to Russia and that Moscow must be forced to pursue diplomacy. The operations come after Zelenskyy approved a 40-day Security Service of Ukraine operation in June aimed at pressuring Russia to end the war. The reports across multiple outlets align on these strikes and the stated strategic aim of pressuring Russia toward diplomacy.
