Communities Mark 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Communities across the U.S. and Ireland marked the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with varied observances—flag ceremonies and memorials in Bend, Oregon; an interfaith prayer service at St. Nicholas Shrine in New York; services and memorials in Streetsboro and Ravenna, Ohio; a commemorative event in Waterford, Ireland; and a Remembrance Mass on Long Island that included new names on the memorial. The events, held on September 11, continued the tradition of honoring victims, first responders, and those affected by the aftermath.
