Thane Wife Strangles Husband With Cooker Lid
A 30-year-old woman, Sunitadevi Hareram Singh of Badlapur East, was arrested for allegedly killing her husband after a sarees dispute, attacking him with a pressure cooker lid and strangling him; police say she initially filed an accidental-death report but a hospital post-mortem found violent asphyxia. Investigators say she tried to mislead others by claiming a heart attack, and a local court remanded her in custody until July 29.
