Nashville: ICE arrests Southwest Airlines flight attendant
Lorenzo Thompson, a Jamaican national and Southwest Airlines flight attendant, was arrested by ICE at Nashville International Airport on July 14 for overstaying a 2021 visa that expired in October 2021. Advocates and the TWU Local 556 union say he was pursuing citizenship and asylum, while ICE says he will remain in custody as immigration proceedings continue.
