Jindal Steel Q1 Profit Down 43%, Appointments Announced
Jindal Steel reported a Q1 FY27 net profit of about Rs 843.8-845 crore, down roughly 43–44% year-on-year as revenue rose to around Rs 15.48-15.50 thousand crore while costs increased and margins narrowed, with a slight debt reduction to about Rs 15,927 crore. The results were released alongside leadership changes, including Vidya Rattan Sharma becoming managing director for two years, Sandeep Modi as CFO, and other executive appointments, plus a new five-year statutory audit firm appointment.
