Budget Office confirms no PEAC/PFIPC funds spent
The Budget Office maintains that although PEAC/PFIPC funds were appropriated, not a single kobo was released or spent because the legal and administrative conditions for expenditure—financial clearance, recruitment, payroll, cash release, and procurement—were never met. It stressed that an appropriation is not expenditure and said it will continue cooperating with the House committee amid the controversy surrounding the council.
