ImmuPharma Selects Thermo Fisher CDMO for Kapiglucagon

ImmuPharma has named Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Patheon as the drug product CDMO for Kapiglucagon, following the earlier selection of Bachem for API manufacturing, as it pushes the glucagon prodrug toward IND-enabling development for Type 1 diabetes and potential dual-hormone artificial pancreas applications. The company is pursuing a streamlined regulatory path, potentially a 505(b)(2) in the U.S., with plans to file an IND and begin first-in-human studies subject to regulatory confirmation.
