ED attaches 1,906 crore assets in gaming probe
The Enforcement Directorate provisionally attached assets totaling ₹1,906 crore of Gameskraft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and related entities in a money-laundering probe linked to online real-money rummy platforms, including RummyCulture, RummyPrime, Playship, and RummyTime, citing a user base of about 3 crore and the alleged use of bots and aggressive incentives. The agency says proceeds were laundered through dividends, share buy-backs, and layered investments, with the investigation rooted in Telangana FIRs and ongoing searches; online real-money gaming had been banned in 2025.
