Virginia hosts NC State in high-stakes ACC opener as 5.5-point favorite
Virginia brings the nation’s most experienced roster to its season opener against NC State, while the Wolfpack counter with a proven quarterback and strong transfer additions; the game, moved from Rio de Janeiro to Charlottesville, negates any neutral-site benefit and restores home-field edge for Virginia. With NC State listed as a 5.5-point underdog and CJ Bailey as the key QB, expect a tight, competitive kickoff as both programs look to establish early season momentum.
