Newcastle Close to £34–£35m Bamba Signing

Newcastle United are set to sign Monaco midfielder Aladji Bamba for about €40-41 million, with the 20-year-old already traveling to England to complete a medical and sign a long-term deal as part of the Magpies’ ongoing midfield rebuild after Sandro Tonali’s departure and amid possible exits for Bruno Guimarães. The transfer is highlighted by multiple outlets confirming the fee and Bamba’s readiness to join, underscoring Newcastle’s strategy of adding young, high-potential talent to the squad.
