About Andrey Pivovarov
Andrei Sergeyevich Pivovarov is a Russian political activist, formerly incarcerated on charges of carrying out activities for an undesirable organisation. He formerly served as director of Open Russia. The Memorial Human Rights Center has deemed him a political prisoner. From 22 October 2012 to 19 October 2013 he was a member of the Russian Opposition Coordination Council.
