Cardinals Part Ways With Hitting Coach Brant Brown
The St. Louis Cardinals are parting ways with hitting coach Brant Brown after a season of major-league-worst offensive production, despite finishing 77-85 and exceeding some expectations in the first year of their rebuild. Most of manager Oli Marmol’s staff is expected to return, and the team could promote an internal assistant or pursue an outside candidate to replace Brown.
