About Come Live with Me Angel
"Come Live with Me Angel" is a smooth soul song by American soul singer Marvin Gaye. The song made its debut as the second track on Gaye's seminal album I Want You via Tamla Records, a subsidiary label of Motown Records. Co-written by singer-songwriter Leon Ware and lyricist Jacqueline Dalya-Hilliard, it was intended for inclusion on the former's album Musical Massage. Ware handed the song to Gaye because the latter showed interest in the former's compositions.
