Mystics End Valkyries Nine-Game Streak 90-82
The Washington Mystics rallied from a late 3:32 remaining deficit to defeat the Golden State Valkyries 90-82, ending the Valkyries’ nine-game streak as Kiki Iriafen poured in 23 points and 12 rebounds and Shakira Austin added 15 points and 15 rebounds in a decisive 17-2 finish. The comeback was fueled by size-based adjustments in the paint and key contributions from Kaitlyn Chen, with a physical late game including a technical foul on Cotie McMahon, and Washington shooting 51.9% overall to seal the win.
