ICE Agent Arrested on Minneapolis Shooting Charges
ICE agent Christian Castro, 52, was arrested in Minneapolis and booked into Hennepin County Jail on four counts of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor for falsely reporting a crime in connection with a Jan. 14 shooting tied to Operation Metro Surge, with federal prosecutors also pursuing charges for making false statements to investigators. Authorities say his custody followed a prolonged legal process across Texas and Minnesota, involving joint actions by state and federal agencies as he faces both state and federal proceedings.
