About David Hanson
David Hanson Jr. is an American roboticist who is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Hanson Robotics, a Hong Kong–based robotics company founded in 2013. In 2013, Hanson sought funding from Jeffrey Epstein for a proposed artificial-intelligence and robotics laboratory whose plans included a female android and a goal of developing general intelligence comparable to that of a young child.
