Blazers plan 2026-27 season around Morant, Lillard
Portland is building around a starting group of Ja Morant, Damian Lillard, Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija and Donovan Clingan, pairing Morant’s playmaking and drives with Lillard’s shooting and the team’s defensive strengths. After returning to the playoffs, the Blazers hope Morant’s arrival and Lillard’s return from injury can improve an inconsistent offense, though fitting the guards together and keeping Morant healthy remain key questions.
