About Edge of the City
Edge of the City is a 1957 American crime drama film directed by Martin Ritt in his feature directorial debut, starring John Cassavetes and Sidney Poitier. The screenplay by Robert Alan Aurthur is based on his teleplay "A Man Is Ten Feet Tall", aired as a 1955 episode of the anthology series The Philco Television Playhouse, which also starred Poitier.
