About Emily Mary Barton
Emily Mary Barton was an English-born Australian poet. She wrote poetry for most of her life, and was still publishing when she was 90. She was the grandmother of Andrew Barton (Banjo) Paterson. She received a classical education in France and Belgium before migrating to New South Wales, Australia, with her family in 1839
