Burlington Mayor Names Geraci Police Chief Nominee
Burlington Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak has chosen Anthony Geraci, a longtime New York law enforcement official and former police chief in Newburgh, as the city’s next police chief; City Council confirmation is expected Nov. 9. Geraci’s prior leadership has drawn controversy, including allegations of gender discrimination, retaliation and a hostile work environment in Newburgh, which he left in 2024.
