About Fujiwara no Suenori
Fujiwara no Suenori was a Japanese nobleman and High Priest of Atsuta Shrine during the late Heian period. He was the grandfather of Minamoto no Yoritomo, the founder and first shogun of the Kamakura shogunate, and a member of the Nanke House of the powerful Fujiwara clan. He held the court rank of Junior Fourth Rank.
