About Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties

Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties is a 2006 comedy film directed by Tim Hill and written by Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow. A sequel to Garfield: The Movie, it stars Breckin Meyer, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Bill Murray reprising their respective roles as Jon Arbuckle, Dr. Liz Wilson and the voice of Garfield, with Billy Connolly, Ian Abercrombie, Roger Rees, Lucy Davis and Oliver Muirhead in live-action roles and Tim Curry, Bob Hoskins, Rhys Ifans, Vinnie Jones, Joe Pasquale, Richard E. Grant and Jane Leeves in voice roles. The plot, loosely inspired by Mark Twain's novel The Prince and the Pauper, follows Garfield after he covertly accompanies Jon and Liz to the United Kingdom with Odie. On this adventure, Garfield inadvertently swaps places with a royal cat named Prince, who physically resembles Garfield and has inherited his late owner's castle. The two cats end up entangled in the schemes of Lord Dargis, the nephew of Prince's owner, who believes the castle should belong to him.
