Kalshi imposes first lifetime ban on George Santos over State of the Union bet
Kalshi permanently bans former Rep. George Santos from its platform, marking the company’s first lifetime ban and imposing a $71,356 penalty for alleged trading misconduct tied to his activity, including an insider-trading-related violation. The move follows Santos’s past penalties for betting on his own attendance at the State of the Union—where he won about $18,000 after a $35,000 fine—and his history of legal troubles and a pardon from President Donald Trump.
