Gray's Anatomy is a reference book of human anatomy written by Henry Gray, illustrated by Henry Vandyke Carter and first published in London in 1858. It continues to be considered one of the most important modern medical textbooks ever written. There have been many revisions of the book, with the latest, the 43rd, being published in December 2025.
