About Hamilton Owen Rendel
Hamilton Owen Rendel designed and installed the original raising mechanism of the Tower Bridge while working for Sir W. G. Armstrong Mitchell & Company of Newcastle upon Tyne. It was subsequently operated by the London Hydraulic Power Company.
