About Hannah Tompkins
Hannah Minthorne Tompkins was the wife of Daniel D. Tompkins, the governor of New York and later vice president of the United States, and thus was the first lady of New York from 1807 to 1817 and then the second lady of the United States from 1817 to 1825.
