Josh Pierson Signs With Foyt for 2027 IndyCar
AJ Foyt Racing has signed 20-year-old Josh Pierson to a multiyear deal to drive its No. 4 Chevrolet in the IndyCar Series beginning in 2027, alongside teammate Dennis Hauger. The former Indy NXT driver, who became the youngest competitor in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at 16, earned his opportunity after a strong development-series season and an IndyCar evaluation test.

Joshua Pierson is an American racing driver who is set to compete in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 4 Chevrolet for A. J. Foyt Racing. Pierson previously drove in Indy NXT for Andretti Global, the FIA World Endurance Championship in LMP2 for United Autosports, and is the youngest driver to start the 24 Hours of Le Mans at 16 years and 119 days.
