About Julian Reade
Julian Edgeworth Reade is a British Middle Eastern archaeologist and Assyriologist who specializes in the archaeology and art of ancient Mesopotamia, particularly the Neo-Assyrian Empire. He was employed by the British Museum in London for most of his career, where he was responsible for the Middle Eastern collections as a curator. He retired from the British Museum in 2000 after 25 years of service.
