About Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts
The Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts was originally a stand-alone Lebanese institute, now part of the University of Balamand. It was founded in 1937, and it was the first national institution of higher education in Lebanon. In 1988, it joined the University of Balamand in the Koura District, Lebanon, during its foundation as one of the three founding faculties at the time.
