About Mary Plummer
Mary Elizabeth Plummer was a Canadian organiser, wartime administrator and fundraiser. She is best remembered for founding and directing the Canadian Field Comforts Commission (CFCC) during the First World War, a volunteer service that supplied Canadian soldiers overseas with clothing, reading matter and other "comforts."
