About My Love Is Your Love
"My Love Is Your Love" is a song by American singer Whitney Houston. It was written and produced by Wyclef Jean and Jerry Duplessis for Houston's fourth studio album of the same name (1998). Musically, the song combines reggae, R&B, gospel, soul and funk elements. Jean and Duplessis developed its beat while traveling on Jean's tour bus, while the repeated "clap your hands" refrain interpolates the Meters' 1970 recording "Handclapping Song". The song is about an unconditional love that lasts so strong that it overcomes world tragedies.
