Nevada’s Question 6, approved by voters in 2024, must pass again on Nov. 3, 2026, to enshrine abortion access in the state constitution, replacing the current 24-week standard with fetal viability and allowing later abortions to protect a pregnant person’s health or life. Supporters say the amendment would safeguard reproductive freedom against future restrictions, while opponents warn its wording could weaken existing safeguards; the potential cost of resulting legal changes is unknown.
