The District Attorney of New York County, commonly known as Manhattan District Attorney, is the elected district attorney for New York County, New York. The office is responsible for the prosecution of violations of New York state laws. The current district attorney is Alvin Bragg Jr.. He was elected in 2021 to succeed Cyrus Vance Jr.
