About Psyché
Psyché is an opera in a prologue and five acts composed by Jean-Baptiste Lully to a libretto by Thomas Corneille. Based on the love story of Cupid and Psyche, Psyché was premiered on 19 April 1678, by the Académie Royale de Musique at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal in Paris.
