Rain and showers are expected Wednesday into Thursday in parts of Kern County, the Bay Area, and south Texas, with a flood watch in Kern County and possible heavier downpours and gusty winds near the Central Coast. Maine is forecast to turn cloudier and breezy Thursday, while many of these regions are expected to trend drier or sunnier later in the week and into the weekend.
