About SeaQuest DSV
SeaQuest DSV is an American science fiction television series created by Rockne S. O'Bannon that originally aired on NBC from 1993 to 1996. The show centers on the crew of the high-tech deep-submergence vehicle seaQuest DSV, a submarine operated by the United Earth Oceans Organization (UEO), as they explore the ocean depths, protect underwater colonies, and navigate geopolitical tensions in a near-future world where humanity has colonized the seas due to depleted land resources. Set initially in 2018 and shifting to 2032 by its third season, it originally mixed high drama with realistic scientific fiction.
